Located to the north of the Osa Peninsula, Corcovado National Park and Drake Bay are known for their unique natural and archaeological wealth. Corcovado is recognized as the area with the highest concentration of flora and fauna in Costa Rica, making it a megadiverse zone and earning the nickname “Costa Rica’s open zoo.”
Until recently, Drake Bay, specifically the village of Agujitas, could only be accessed by sea. Its rocky beaches offer unmatched scenic beauty. In addition to the abundant wildlife that inhabits the area, the region is famous for nearby attractions such as Cano Island, Térraba-Tiller, and the Archaeological Museum of Stone Spheres, among others.
